GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

  • To determine the coverage rate of health facilities within the framework of ACF’s support for the management of severe acute malnutrition and to understand the barriers to access to care among children aged 6 to 59 months, based on the SQUEAC methodology.
  • SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
    1. Estimate the coverage of the PCIMA Program (Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition) in the project’s intervention areas in the districts of Chaddra and Moussoro.
    2. Identify the distribution of areas with high coverage and areas with low coverage across the various intervention areas.
    3. Identify barriers to access to acute malnutrition management services based on information collected from the mothers of children suffering from acute malnutrition who were identified during the survey but are not enrolled in the program.
    4. Formulate recommendations based on the evaluation results to improve access to acute malnutrition treatment services and increase coverage levels in the program’s intervention area.
