In order to assess the impact and effectiveness of the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) program implemented in 67 integrated health centers and 40 health posts in the two health districts of the Tillabéry region—namely Filingué and Ouallam—the International Rescue Committee (IRC) organized a coverage assessment from November 4 to 18, 2015, using the SLEAC methodology (Simplified LQAS-Based Assessment of Coverage Accessibility). The objective of this assessment is to provide not only a classification and an overall estimate of PCIMA program coverage for the four departments in the two districts of Tillabéry, but also limited information on barriers to accessibility. The overall current coverage obtained for the entire intervention area is estimated at 28.46 (95% CI: 21.9%–34.4%).
