The mobility was limited and in some cases restricted too. However, the preliminary activities like collection of all IMAM registers, distance from VDCs to OTCC, analysis and interpretation of available programme data was started from April 2017. The overall objective of the assessment was to evaluate the coverage of Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition programme. The programme includes both treatment services for both Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) through Outpatient Therapeutic Care Centres (OTCC) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) through Targeted Supplementary Feeding Programme (TSFP) sites for children 6-59 months as well as MAM treatment for Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLW). However, the scope of this assessment was limited to management of SAM only.
