SQUEAC Report, Tillaberi Health District, Niger, December 2015

The investigation was conducted in December 2015 using the SQUEAC follow-up methodology, which made it possible to assess changes in the barriers identified during the SQUEAC survey conducted in November 2014 and to evaluate the coverage of the PCIMA program in the Tillabéry Health District with technical support from the Coverage Monitoring Network (CMN). The SQUEAC coverage survey conducted in November 2014 had estimated the PCIMA program coverage rate at 52.8% (95% CI: 42.7–62.7) in the Tillabéry Health District. This figure rose to 59.8% [95% CI: 48.8%–70.2%] in this follow-up SQUEAC survey. There is no statistically significant difference between these two coverage rates. However, this figure confirms that the Tillabéry District remains above the SPHERE standard of 50% for rural areas.
