This assessment focused on the CMAM services for children aged 6-59 months. The CMAM services are provided by the Bangladeshi NGO SARPV with technical and financial support from Action Against Hunger and the World Food Programme. SAM treatment has been available in Moheshkhali since April 2016 and in all Community Clinics since August 2016. MAM treatment was initiated in January 2015 has been available in all Community Clinics since April 2015. The SQUEAC identified a coverage estimation of 65.4% (95% CI: 58.3-71.8%) for the SFP. It was not possible to estimate the coverage of the OTP as an insufficient sample of SAM cases were identified during the wide area survey. However the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data during the assessment enabled the survey team to calculate a “prior” estimate of SAM treatment coverage of 51%.
