With the UK’s existing commitments to nutrition set to end in 2020, the International Coalition for Advocacy on Nutrition puts forth its recommendations to the UK government ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Nutrition for Growth Summit. The summit marks a crucial opportunity for the UK to reinforce its status as a central player in the global nutrition landscape, assert its pledges and priorities for spending on nutrition over the coming decade, and galvanise international governments into taking action on meeting the targets and deadlines outlined in the SDGs.
